Divisions

Aside from standard patrol duties, the Prominence District Police consists of three divisions. We have two primary categories for divisions: Field Operations and the Departmental Integrity Bureau (DIB). Field Operations relate to patrol and K9 operations. The Departmental Integrity Bureau relates to Public Relations and Training & Admissions - the overall integrity of the department.

Public Relations

In Public Relations, you can write newsletters, capture and edit high-quality photos to be featured on Twitter, and assist with event coordination. Our PR Staff report to the PR Sergeant.

K9 Unit

In the K9 Unit, you have the honor of handling our reliable canines while on-duty. Canines are used in many high-risk situations. This unit is a close affiliate of the State Patrol's Executive Security Unit. Our K9 Officers report to the K9 Sergeant.

Training & Admissions

In Training & Admissions, you have the opportunity to become a Field Training Officer and help new Recruits become successful peace officers. Our Field Training Officers report to the Training & Admissions Sergeant.
