Recruitment

Do you have what it takes to become a Prominent Officer of Prominence?

1. Graduate POST

To become an Officer within the Prominence District Police, you must first apply, complete, and graduate the Peace Officer Standards & Training (POST) academy. Applications for POST are announced in the Firestone Discord server. The estimated time to complete and graduate POST is one month.

2. Pass the Application Process.

Once you receive your POST certification, you become eligible to apply for the Prominence District Police. You apply for the department at the universal application hub. Once you submit an application, you can track your application's progress by viewing our application tracker. If you pass the "Application Review" stage, you will be sent the Aptitude Test. The Aptitude Test is an assessment which contains multiple choice and open-ended questions. If you pass this test with an 80% or higher, you will be accepted as a Recruit. We also have a transfer application, which allows one to move from one law enforcement department to PDP. The transfer application remains open 24/7, but we only accept transfers when we are in need of more Officers.

3. Complete Recruit Phases.

Upon being accepted into the department, you will complete a total of four phases. Phase 1 is a review of some POST content which includes traffic stops, high risk stops, and also breaching. Following phase 1, the Recruit will take a quiz on the department's handbook. Phase 2 is where the Recruit is patrolling with a Field Training Officer, getting use to the district. Phase 3 is where the Recruit is also in the driver's seat, and a Field Training Officer grades the Recruit from the passenger's seat. Phase 4 is a one-week probation period, where the Recruit patrols solo before becoming an Officer. Recruits who have transferred from another department may skip phase 2.
